A Soyuz rocket flies to the ISS with three astronauts on board

A Soyuz rocket with three astronauts aboard flew overnight from Wednesday of the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to the International Space Station (ISS) for a mission of about five months.

Russian cosmonaut Alexander Missourkine and US astronauts Mark Vande Hei and Joseph Acaba took off at 21:17 GMT Tuesday on board the Soyuz MS-06 rocket, according to images transmitted by the Russian space agency Roskosmos.
